Bempton hanging bird table

As with all our products it is handmade from FSC certified timber from sustainably managed forests. It features intricate latticework in a painted green finish, with a real copper coloured copper roof and a natural rope for hanging. Unlike most bird tables which are difficult to clean and can become messy, our hanging Bempton has a clever removable side panel and recycled plastic tray which lifts off for easy cleaning. This also allows access to the inside edges of the bird table so that they can be brushed out and any old food which could harbour bacteria. This helps to ensure an excellent standard of bird hygiene is maintained. The balustrade of latticework and arches around the Bempton provides a restricted height, safe space for smaller birds to feed. This restricted space prevents access by larger species such as crows, pigeons, magpies, gulls to the food. It also makes life difficult for predatory sparrow hawks whose habit it is to target small birds at open feeder tables.
