Decobird - Cardinal shoehorn

The Northern Cardinal Shoehorn is a hand-carved and realistically sculpted wooden bird, where the tail feathers form the actual shoehorn. The Northern Cardinal is a colorful songbird from the eastern United States that has ranged from the southern states all the way north to the Canadian border. It nests almost anywhere as long as there is shrubbery nearby. The male is very territorial and defends his territory with both song and aggression, but during the mating season he shows his softer side by wooing the female and feeding her.
