DecoBird - Peregrine Falcon

Under the name DecoBird we present a series of handcrafted wooden birds. The series consists of lifelike shaped and colored models of the most famous European small birds including the Blue Tit. The birds are shown in real size and are painted with environmentally friendly paint. With the help of careful craftsmen, we were able to create this truly lifelike image of the peregrine falcon. The peregrine falcon commands respect and is the fastest bird on earth. It reaches speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour, is an effective hunter and catches its prey by hitting it in the air at great speed. Despite its strength and agility, it is a shy bird that likes to be left alone. It builds its nest on rocky edges, but is sometimes seen in cities, where it builds its nest on the edges of apartment buildings and feeds on the large number of pigeons.
