DecoBird - Gould's Finch
Omschrijving
Natural handmade wooden bird
This charming bird statue is designed and handmade in Sweden using eco-friendly materials, such as hand-carved wood and eco-friendly paint. Because the birds are handmade, each piece has delicate variations in detail, giving each individual personality.
About the Gouldian Finch
The Gouldian Finch, also known as the Lady Gouldian Finch, Gouldian Finch or Rainbow Finch, is a brightly coloured bird native to northern Australia. It nests in tree hollows in open, sparse woodlands. Their numbers have declined over the past millennium, partly due to a reduction in their natural habitat.
In the past, people exported the birds worldwide and there are several captive bred populations worldwide. Today, export is prohibited.
DecoBird from Wildlife Garden
We create our handmade DecoBirds in close collaboration with ornithological experts, product designers and skilled craftsmen. The result is an ever-growing family of birds where each piece is unique.
DecoBirds are perfect gifts for bird and nature lovers. At home, they are charming decorations and design elements that are suitable for modern and more generous styles. Their lifelike appearance makes them ideal in educational environments and schools use them as teaching aids and playful classroom decorations. Thanks to their authentic, detailed expression, they are also popular as collector's items.
