In addition to the honeybee, Europe has hundreds of other bee species. These bees are very important for the pollination of flowers and plants. Whether they are wild plants, food crops, fruit trees or ornamental plants in the garden, 80% depend on insects for their fruit and seed formation.

Many wild bee species are threatened by the decline in flora and nesting opportunities. This bee house is equipped with four wooden trays that can be removed for inspection or cleaning. The holes in the bee house attract solitary bees, allowing various species of wild bees to nest here. A female bee makes several cells in a hole with an egg and some pollen and nectar for the larva.
