Without the insert, you can fill the Kombimatare with apples or fat balls. You can simply hang the Kombimatare in a tree or on a hook. Due to its height, unwanted visitors such as rats and mice cannot reach it. If the short brackets are used, only small birds, tits and woodpeckers can reach the food. With the long brackets, blackbirds and other larger birds can also land. By not installing brackets, you only allow tits and woodpeckers.
