About the Chihuahua
The Chihuahua is a companion dog whose origins date back to Mexico. Similar dogs have also been found as skeletons and depictions in ancient paintings in Egypt and Malta, so the origins are not entirely clear.
The breed is small, but has a strong herding and ownership instinct. Offenders get a good "bark" and the next moment they have to cuddle with the dog. The Chihuahua is an active dog and wants to participate in everything from agility to hanging out on the couch.
