Corten steel is a sustainable steel that is often used in works of art and lasts for years despite rusting! 4 millimeter thick Corten steel - does not bend, is super strong! Local production: All Birdwise products are designed and produced in the Netherlands. Birdwise consciously chooses to have production take place in the Netherlands and not in low-wage countries, so that at Birdwise they are 100% sure that our products are produced under the right conditions, in terms of working conditions and environmental legislation. Due to local production, the impact of transport is minimal. Sustainable packaging: All our packaging consists of 100% recycled cardboard, and our products are packaged as minimally as possible. We do not package our products in plastic. Birdwise animal goals: A substantial part of the profit goes to charities. Our metal animals are beautiful, but not as beautiful as real nature. We also do not see our birds as a replacement for real nature.
