Are you looking for a slender greenhouse with a large standing height? Then choose the Burford. This freestanding greenhouse is equipped as standard with a threshold-free single sliding door with lock. The sliding door is 65 cm wide and has a height of no less than 200 cm. So you do not have to bend over to enter the greenhouse! For the extra wide gutter with a width of 80 mm, 2 drainpipes with a diameter of 40 mm are supplied free of charge. Choice of sealing The Burford greenhouse offers a choice of 3 types of sealing: 3 mm thick horticultural or safety glass and 6 mm polycarbonate. The horticultural glass is fixed to the greenhouse frame using glass clamps, whereby the horticultural glass is applied 'stacked like roof tiles'. If you choose safety glass or polycarbonate, the seal is fixed with plastic glazing strips. The advantages per type of sealing in a row: horticultural glass: affordable in price and easy to replace in the event of breakage. Safety glass: supplied in long panes and up to 6 times stronger than horticultural glass. Polycarbonate double-walled: lightweight, unbreakable and has a better insulating effect than glass. The Burford frame is available as standard in a clear version. For a more luxurious appearance and/or unity with the environment in which the greenhouse is placed, this greenhouse is available in a black or classic dark green coated version. Ventilation Good ventilation is vital in the greenhouse. That is why the Burford is equipped with 2 roof windows in model 66 + 86 and 4 roof windows in the largest model; 106. For optimum ease of use, the use of an automatic window opener Ventomax or Spiro is recommended. These window openers are temperature-sensitive and open or close the roof window automatically. A foundation edge is necessary for a stable and strong base. The Burford is supplied as standard free of charge with an aluminium foundation edge of 8 cm high.
