Place the nest box on a tree or wall, at a height of up to 2 metres, in a well-hidden place between dense shrubs or ivy plants, in a quiet and somewhat sheltered place, so not directly in the sun or on the rainy side, with a free flight path for the bird. In connection with the territory of the birds, hang the nest box at least 10 metres away from nest boxes that are intended for the same type of bird and at least 3 metres away from feeding houses.
