Where do you place your Nester?
Make sure your nester is away from feeders and bird baths and is kept out of the prevailing wind. Place it between 5 - 10 feet high and make sure it is oriented between
north and southeast.


Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean your nester annually in late summer/early fall. Remove the roof by unscrewing the single screw on the side of the barrel. The barrel and hoops will age naturally to give an even more authentic look. However, you can treat the wood with an exterior acrylic finish every 2-3 years.
