Omschrijving

The Wildbird Cork peanut butter jar holder with rocker prevents large birds from eating the peanut butter! When they sit on the stick of this holder, it tilts backwards and they can no longer reach the food. The small and lighter birds can remain seated and enjoy eating the peanut butter. Place the peanut butter jar in the back of the holder and it is firmly attached, so that it cannot simply fall out. The Cork peanut butter jar holder rocker has a size of 19x20x136 cm. This holder is made in collaboration with the Bird Protection Society. By making this purchase, a part is donated to the Bird Protection Society, the organization for the protection and preservation of nature reserves in the Netherlands. Peanut butter is a favorite food source for your garden birds. It provides a lot of energy and can be given all year round. In winter it is a good fuel to maintain the body temperature. In spring and summer, do not hang/place this jar in full sun. The parent birds are busy feeding the young ones and that also costs a lot of energy. They often eat the peanut butter themselves and then go hunting for insects and other food for the young birds. Birds are perfectly capable of putting together their own menu. In the fall, the build-up of the layer of fat starts again, so that they can cope with the cold days again.
