About Anna's Hummingbirds
Anna's Hummingbird is stocky for a hummingbird. They are about 10 cm long and weigh between 3-6 g. Both the female and male are gray-green, but the male has an iridescent red-pink throat – which appears dull gray without direct sunlight. They feed on small insects and nectar, but are regular visitors to hummingbird feeders and flowering plants in gardens.
