Wide choice in sealing The Birdlip greenhouse offers a choice of 3 types of sealing: 3 mm thick horticultural or safety glass and 6 mm polycarbonate. The horticultural glass is fixed to the greenhouse frame using glass clamps, whereby the horticultural glass is applied 'stacked like roof tiles'. If you opt for safety glass or polycarbonate, the seal is fixed with plastic glazing strips. For optimum ease of use, the use of an automatic window opener is recommended. These window openers are temperature-sensitive and open or close the roof window automatically. Louvre windows with 6 slats are optionally available, which provide extra ventilation in a side wall as desired.
