Igloo Hedgehog House

The Thatched Igloo House provides hedgehogs and other mammals with a safe haven from the many dangers of modern life such as garden snipers, forks and tools, pets and other predators such as badgers and foxes. This habitat is much safer than the compost heap or bonfire where hedgehogs are at risk from garden tools or burning. The round painted steel frame has a felted waterproof roof covered with a brushwood finish decorated with rattan bands. As the product is made from natural materials the appearance may vary due to seasonal availability and environmental factors. Placement Pile leaves around the house to camouflage it. Place cut short lengths of dry grass or leaves inside as nesting material. If boisterous dogs or badgers are near the igloo and may be anchored for extra security.
