This new insect study centre has the following interactive features from above. COSY HAY LOFT A chalet-style insect shelter and a haven from predators. BUG ZONE Specially made bamboo nest tubes for solitary bees and or other overwintering insects including ladybirds and lacewings. WINTER ZONE Room The second floor has an open side access and a wintering chamber, ready to be filled with bark, straw or leaves. INTERACTIVE BEE BOXES Inlay wooden interactive nest boxes for bees and other insects. South-east facing location in a sheltered area 1.0 - 2.0 metres high. MAINTENANCE Made from FSC certified timber. To maintain the green colour, a green water-based paint can be applied annually.
