In a modern and sleek garden, bird items are a must. This timeless nesting box not only adds a lot of atmosphere, but also offers the Wren a good place to nest and to maintain or restore populations of this bird species in an area. In winter, the nesting box often proves a good service for the birds to shelter from bad weather.
Place the nest box on a tree or wall, at a height of up to 2 metres, in a well-hidden spot between dense shrubs or ivy plants, in a quiet and somewhat sheltered spot, so not directly in the sun or on the rainy side, with a free flight path for the bird. Hang the nest box at least 10 metres away from nest boxes intended for the same type of bird, and at least 3 metres away from feeding houses, because of the birds' territory. Autumn is the best time to clean the nest box.
