This nesting box is specially made for great tits. With one entrance, the birds will feel very safe and sheltered from extreme weather conditions, such as heavy storms and the winter period and other predators. On the other side of the nesting box there is an entrance that leads to the feeding table. The lid of the nesting box can be tilted, so that it can be easily cleaned from the inside. It is advisable to place the nesting box at least 1.8 meters from the ground and at least 10 meters from a similar birdhouse. It is recommended that the nesting box should be hung in a sheltered place. It is also important not to place the nesting box in full sun. The nesting box can best be hung on a tree or fence, but can also be placed on a plateau. You can also clean the birdhouse with water and a brush to remove possible parasites.
