Birds use nesting material to build a safe and comfortable place for their young. The material protects the eggs and insulates them. By providing suitable nesting material in your garden or outdoor area, you can help birds during the busy breeding season. We recommend providing this nesting material from February onwards, as this is when most garden birds start exploring potential nesting sites.
To create the best possible nesting material, we not only looked at what birds would normally use in nature to build nests, but also at the softness of the material and its impact on the environment. This material contains equal parts of colorful wool, recycled coffee jute and hay.
