Timeless Bempton Hanging Bird Table

Our best-selling hanging Bempton is simply one of the most attractive and practical bird tables available, which is why it has been added to the Timeless Collection for a contemporary new look. As with most of our products, it is handmade from FSC certified timber from sustainably managed forests. It features decorative woodwork in a painted grey finish, with a real copper Verdigris roof and a natural rope for hanging.

The balustrade of latticework and arches around the Timeless Bempton provide a restricted height, safe space for smaller birds to feed. This restricted space prevents access to the food by larger species such as crows, pigeons, magpies, gulls. It also makes it difficult for predatory sparrowhawks which have a habit of catching small birds from open feeding tables.

Maintenance

Unlike most bird tables that are difficult to clean and can become messy, our Timeless Hanging Bempton has a clever removable side panel and a recycled plastic tray that is easy to clean. By allowing access to the internal edges of the bird table for brushing out, and removing any old food that could harbour bacteria, excellent standards of bird hygiene are promoted.

Clean and disinfect the feeder regularly to prevent disease and dry thoroughly before reusing. We recommend repainting annually with water-based exterior paint to keep the surface sealed and maintain its full appearance.
