Bird Protection - Aldine Nest Box 34 mm

The Aldine nest box has a 34 mm entrance hole and is therefore extremely suitable for house sparrows, tree creepers and pied flycatchers. The sloping roof and black wood grain together form a striking combination. The depth of the nest box is sufficient so that birds can safely build a nest underneath.

The wood of this nest box is thermally modified. It is heated in an oxygen-poor environment to more than 180 ⁰C. This causes a chemical change in the structure of the wood. This increases durability. The oxygen-poor environment prevents the wood from burning, but gives each nest box a unique appearance.
