Bird Protection Insect Hotel Floreana
Omschrijving
This beautifully designed insect hotel is ideal as a shelter for insects. Solitary bees, among others, like to use an insect hotel. They collect pollen and put it in the bamboo tubes. When they have collected enough, they lay an egg and cover the cell with a layer. Then they start again with a little pollen to make a new brood cell. When the eggs hatch, the pollen forms food for the young bee and it works its way out to fly out.
Bees are essential for our food supply. After all, they pollinate plants. Help the bees by hanging up this insect hotel. Give it a sunny spot, preferably near many flowering plants. Check out our website for our extensive collection of plants that attract bees.
You increase biodiversity in the immediate living environment by hanging this insect hotel.
