Wall poster Wadden birds

Learn more about coastal and wadden birds with this beautiful wall poster. All common coastal and wadden birds have been faithfully drawn by Elwin van der Kolk. Both the Dutch and Latin names are given for each species. You can also see whether it is an annual visitor or a migratory bird and, if different, whether it is a male or female.

Elwin van der Kolk, the Dutch biologist and nature painter, was fascinated by the nature around him at a young age. He spent a large part of his youth birdwatching and drawing birds. In his drawings he tries to capture nature in such a way that the viewer is encouraged to admire and protect nature.
