The Rose Breasted Galah is one of Australia’s most common and beloved cockatoos. This very playful bird is easily spotted by its pink breast and bouncing acrobatic flight as it roams the Australian plains in large noisy flocks in search of seeds and nuts. The Galah nests in tree hollows or rock crevices, often close to other breeding pairs. Both male and female take part in incubating the 2-5 eggs, which normally take 4 weeks.
